TIME TO RIDE.
Light, fast, robust, brilliant handling - the perfect bike for young mountain bikers is called Reaction 240 Pro. It has everything that young shredders need to push their limits - there are no unnecessary frills. A full carbon fork with thru axle saves weight and increases riding comfort. And thanks to its wide gear range, the Microshift 9-speed gear system can handle any trail and any climb. Powerful disc brakes and Schwalbe tires on Newmen rims (the same set-up as on our adult models, by the way) provide an extra portion of control and safety. In addition, all contact points are carefully adapted to the anatomy of young riders - for brilliant riding comfort, coupled with top control, anytime and anywhere.
The Reaction 240 Pro is made from the same heat-treated 6061 aluminum tube sets as our adult performance bikes. And we adapted their shape for the optimal stiffness-to-weight ratio - and for plenty of tire clearance - using the same mechanical molding process. We were able to save even more weight by using a full carbon fork with thru axle. In addition, mounts for disc brakes and the clever positioning of the cables ensure even more safety and better braking performance. Another highlight is the replaceable derailleur hanger, which means that you don't have to have the entire frame repaired at great expense after a small fall.
