If you're out and about with the whole family and suddenly only see terrain in front of you, the Nuroad Rookie is the last thing you need to worry about. Its robust 40 mm wide Schwalbe tires on CUBE disc wheels not only offer plenty of grip, but also roll comfortably and smoothly on both asphalt and gravel. With a full carbon fork, we were able to save even more weight and optimize ride comfort, which young riders especially appreciate on long days in the saddle. Mechanical disc brakes impress with impeccable braking quality, even in wet conditions. And because we've installed the wide-ranging, gravel-specific GRX 2x10-speed gear system from Shimano, even the steepest climbs are child's play. There's no question that this bike loves adventure - and adventurous kids love this bike!

The Nuroad Rookie frame combines the off-road competence of our cyclocross models with the agility of our racing bikes – spiced up with a few extremely useful mountain bike skills. This chassis is not only perfectly proportioned and tailored to young riders, but also comes with a whole host of high-quality features: Sufficient tire clearance leaves room for wider tires. Screwing points for luggage racks and mudguards open up unimagined possibilities when it comes to flexible retrofitting with accessories – and thus the view for longer adventure tours. It even comes with a full carbon fork, which is far more comfortable to ride than an aluminum fork.
