Not all race bikes are constructed the same. The quality of the Litening C:68X SLX, for example, is defined by an extremely successful combination of low weight, top riding comfort on long distances and incomparable aerodynamics. Almost unfair, but still UCI-compliant. Its Mavic Cosmic Carbon SLR 45 wheelset brings together extremely wind-efficient design and feather-light comfort. And thanks to the radio-controlled Sram Red 2x12-speed AXS shift/brake unit, speed fans benefit from a wide gear range and maximum braking power at the touch of a finger from the handlebars. The comfort of carbon, a frame with 30% less air resistance and our almost excessive attention to detail - what more do you need to break away from the field with full power?
There are these rules - and a road bike has to comply with them to be approved for UCI races. So we set about making the carbon frame of the Litening C:68X even more aerodynamic without breaking the rules. How did we manage to do this? With the help of our high-quality C:68X® composite material, complex CFD analyses and wind tunnel tests under real conditions. The result is 30% less air resistance in the form of a completely UCI-compliant chassis that creates a fully integrated set-up with fork, stem, handlebars and seat post. At the same time, this racer is super comfortable to ride. It offers tire clearance for tires up to 28 mm wide and can be used with all current power measurement systems. But its specialty is and remains: speed, speed and more speed!
