You can't fool children for long - one day they'll want a bike just like mom and dad. With the Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie SLX, this goal is within reach. We've installed the same Bosch motor and battery as many of our adult e-mountain bikes. That means plenty of forward thrust and therefore plenty of power reserves even on longer and more strenuous tours with the family. The Suntour air suspension fork can be easily adjusted to smaller, lighter bikers. In addition, small hands can comfortably and safely grip the thinner handlebars with the thinner grips. Last but not least: the reliable, wide-ranging 10-speed gears from Shimano and powerful hydraulic disc brakes for controlled deceleration and stopping, even when riding overly enthusiastically. Just get on and go!
When developing their high-quality drive systems, the engineers at Bosch probably didn't have a child's bike in mind. But that didn't stop us from skillfully integrating such a system into our perfectly proportioned Acid 240 Hybrid Rookie frame. This e-bike chassis for youngsters hits the trails with the same design and the same technologies as our adult e-mountain bikes. This guarantees lots of riding fun and a high level of safety! We have routed the cables neatly inside, which significantly reduces maintenance work. There are also mounting points for a CUBE side stand.
